Our assistance
Regulatory requirements applicable to stationary hydrogen systems come from:
- regulations for installations classified for environmental protection
- the labor code (ATEX)
- town planning documents
Each installation storing hydrogen must comply with the requirements applicable to the classified installation defined by ministerial decree of 02/12/1998 relating to the general requirements applicable to installations classified for environmental protection subject to declaration under the heading ICPE n°4715 (hydrogen storage).
Beyond 5 tonnes of hydrogen stored on site, it will be classified as a low threshold SEVESO type, and beyond 50 tonnes it will be classified as a high threshold SEVESO type. Depending on the case, the project will be subject to declaration, control or authorization.

Safety & Environment
Our mission is to identify and study all the authorized or restrictive elements, particularly at the local level in terms of Safety and the environment (implementation rules, regulations, natural and technological risks, nuisances, environment) applicable to the project implementation site in order to integrate them into the design studies.
